Job Description
Physical therapists, or PTs, are healthcare providers who treat patients suffering from chronic conditions, illness, or injury that may hinder their ability to move accordingly. After an initial examination, the PT will create a plan to restore function or manage pain. This may consist of exercise, stretching, or other techniques. A positive and encouraging demeanor is a welcomed attribute of PTs, as their work involves long-term, ongoing plans to support patients in their recovery.
Education Requirements
Most employers require current licensure through the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy.
