Overview

Job Description

As a Sous Chef, you’ll support the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations to ensure the delivery of quality meals. Responsibilities include assisting with menu planning, supervising kitchen staff, overseeing food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness. As a leader of the culinary team, you’ll help develop menus that meet the dietary needs of residents. Additional responsibilities may include inventory management and training kitchen staff, making this pathway suitable for individuals with previous kitchen or restaurant management experience.

Education Requirements

Some employers may prefer a ServSafe or similar food safety certification.
